I was traveling with my teenager son by bus on a line I had not used very much (although I was familiar with the area) but which he knew quite well. We were going to an important medical appointment which I did not want to miss. We did not have too much time to waste so I wanted to make sure that we would get out of the bus at the correct stop. I asked him, if he knew the stop we had to get out. He explained me the location of the stop. The bus was soon about to to be there. Suddenly, I saw a yellow bus stop sign, and yelled to the driver that he missed a stop, and we would like to get out here. My son was angry and embarrassed: there was not a bus stop in the street corner. I had seen a yellow TAXI sign and mistook it as a bus stop sign in my eagerness to get to the appointment on time.
